Our classes follow the guidelines of a well-structured syllabus and provide a great deal of variety and an excellent physical workout.  Students are able to work and advance at their own pace and are always encouraged to strive to achieve their personal best.

The Freestyle aspect of our art enables us to incorporate methods from many martial arts including Karate, Muay Thai, Aikido, BJJ, MMA, Systema, Krav Maga, Arnis Eskrima Kali.  This ensures that no two classes are exactly the same and students can challenge themselves and find something that suits their style.

As well as self-defence minded students, the system will also encourage many to take on their training for the purpose of competition. The skills training has been refined emphasizng the system's unique footwork and explosive power.

Body conditioning is a major necessity for the potential competitor and the addition of the Gladiator plyometrics routine has become both a training drill and tested requirement.

BJMA KRAV MAGA

Krav Maga is Hebrew for 'contact combat'.  Its founder was a Hungarian-Israeli martial artist called Imi Lichtenfeld who made use of his training as a boxer and wrestler as a means to defend the Jewish quarter against fascist groups in Czechoslovakia in the mid to late 1930s.

Krav Maga has a philosophy emphasizing simultaneous defence and offence with high levels of aggression, it has been adapted with several different disciplines of the system refined for civilian self defence, security organisations, police and military applications, including focusing on global terrorism awareness.

KIDZ KICKSTART KARATE

Kidz Kickstart Karate is an innovative programme which is specifically for primary aged children between 5 and 13 years.  It was developed out of a need to provide a safe and exciting training system which kept young minds enthused and at the same time led directly into the senior classes.

The grading system has been modified to enable young martial artists to gain a solid grounding in both the physical and mental aspects of martial arts.  All grading requirements are taken from the senior curriculum but are spread over a much longer time frame.
